KID'S METTA | 6-week Applied Loving-kindness Meditation for kids aged 7-12
UPDATED 03 Jul 2018 5 digital books have been ordered and successfully downloaded for my initial writing. The remaining items shall be brought from Singapore by Jinxing next month. By means of this post, I send my thanks and blessings to Jinxing and all Dhamma friends. Let's keep seeding good deeds far and wide ✍️ Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu! --- On June 30th, Today I have received the valuable gifts in support of my MPhil study in Sri Lanka - Textbooks dāna. After several months, Jinxing, who has contacted me from Singapore is very careful to double-check with me how to send those books. Both digital and hardcover versions are going to be ordered online. Unfortunately, my research topic is pretty new and Nāgānanada Institute's library has just got a limited number of reference books in the field of (right) mindfulness and empiricism. In the meantime, my draft chapter of Literature Review indeed needs several copies in the booklist. Therefore, this dāna from Jinxing and all Dhamma friends is timely meaningful to my current writing. "May you spread the Dhamma far and wide"
Twice per month, I have received the aspirations which touched my heart. The study in Sri Lanka, however, is more pricey than I had ever thought. Several warnings from monastic friends gave me a more practical view of Lankan society today. Although I expected nothing since the day I landed here, initial settlement fees are still worldly matters so that a monastic student cannot ignore. Thus, every support is highly appreciated. More interestingly, living with those worldly matters gives rise to insightful perspectives during my meditative time. May all beings be liberated, be liberated, be liberated one day! with māha mettā. Joticanda |
